The goal of our retreat: provide the time and space for you to explore your creativity.

Find inspiration amongst fellow writers (new and aspiring or veteran and published) in the picturesque town of Gananoque and the Thousand Islands.

Pamper yourself with a winter retreat where you can write, relax, enjoy the beauty of nature in a cozy town atmosphere, and practice self care.
3rd Annual
The 2023 and 2024 retreats were cozy, sold out events with 5-7 participants, wonderful networking (dare we say bonding?), curated workshops, plenty of writing time, and gourmet meals prepared by Cheoff Geoff.

Workshop by Jenn Burke: The Basics of Worldbuilding for Fiction Writers
No matter whether you're writing science fiction, high fantasy, paranormal romance, or even literary fiction grounded in reality, taking the time to set up your world is essential. In this workshop, we'll cover the basics of worldbuilding, including establishing the rules for your world, its history, the environment, and more.
